Zhujiajiao (Ancient town or Canal town close to Shanghai)

Zhujiajiao is an hour drive away from Shanghai. This canal town is also called "Venice in Shanghai" but there is no need to mention that this is an exaggeration. The place is of historical interest due to the ancient buildings of Ming and Qing Dynasty styles and the old stone bridges. A 2 hour walk through the tiny streets around the canals is enough to get a good impression.
