The next morning we started our trekking tour in the Himalaya starting off from 2900 metres. Throughout the next days we should reach an altitude of 5000 meters. The views from our camp on the glacier and the valley were amazing!

Jammu and Kashmir
This still highly militarized area in the north of India which has borders with Pakistan and China has one of the most spectacular landscapes of India. Being a departure point for trekking in the Himalaya we spent our first night on a houseboat in Srinagar. The houseboats are lying in the Lake Dal which is famous for its floating gardens.
The next morning we started our trekking tour in the Himalaya starting off from 2900 metres. Throughout the next days we should reach an altitude of 5000 meters. The views from our camp on the glacier and the valley were amazing!
